Date Everything!

Date Everything! is a sandbox dating sim developed by Sassy Chap Games and published by Team17. The game revolves around the player character forming relationships with anthropomorphized versions of everyday objects around their house.

As Tech Lead, I led a team of up to 33 people to develop this ambitious project and underlying tech for Sassy Chap Games, featuring fully voiced dialogues with over 100 characters, over 70 thousand lines of dialog, and loads of interaction both on the overworld and within dialogues.

The game was released on June, 2025, and in the first 6 months sold over 600 thousand units, also being nominated for awards:

 

Predecessor

Predecessor is a free-to-play multiplayer online battle arena game developed and published by Omeda Studios. The game started its buy-to-play early access phase on 1 December 2022. A free-to-play open beta launched on 28 March 2024. The game was fully released on 20 August 2024.

As Senior Backend & Frontend Engineer, I worked on migrating the backend structure from Accelbyte to Pragma for the 1.0 Release, while also reworking the UI/Frontend for Consoles (Playstation 4/5 & XBOX) release.

The game has over 2 million players across all platforms.
